Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council partnered with Switchee to tackle fuel poverty, improve energy efficiency, and better understand the performance of its housing stock. With a focus on supporting residents living in lower EPC-rated homes, the council needed a scalable, cost-effective way to identify households most at risk and target support where it would have the greatest impact.

Using Switchee's real-time property insights and resident engagement tools, Dudley was able to identify fuel poverty risks, support residents with energy-saving advice, and improve communication across its housing portfolio. The result was £12,000 in resident savings, an 88% average response rate to resident campaigns, and a projected reduction of 939 tonnes of CO₂ per year, helping create warmer, safer, and more energy-efficient homes.
