Northwards Housing (Manchester City Council) partnered with Switchee to support its decarbonisation programme and help residents transition to renewable heat pumps. As part of a large-scale retrofit project, the organisation needed a way to understand system performance, support resident adoption, and ensure the technology delivered the expected energy and carbon savings.

Using Switchee's real-time property insights and smart heating controls, Northwards was able to monitor heat pump performance, identify residents who needed additional support, and measure the impact of retrofit interventions. The result was improved energy efficiency, reduced carbon emissions, and data-led progress towards Net Zero goals.
